By the time Steve Ponzetto graduated from high school in 1981, he had already incorporated his live sound reinforcement business, SPL Sound.

Initially a bass player, Steve's perfectionism led him to purchase a sound system for his own band. It wasn't long before other bands began to hire Steve for his natural talent as an audio engineer; so he put down his bass for a pair of headphones and a Sharpie.

Twenty-some years later, you can still find Steve at FOH. That is, unless he has managed to sneak off to pursue his second love: racing.
